Project 14 / 15
Mix of Memories and Style
Bracelets built from old denim and studs, with my dogs' hair dyed blue so they come everywhere with me.
About
this work
this work
In this project, I designed and made my own bracelets to express my individuality, even incorporating my dog's hair, an idea inspired by Victorian hair jewelry. Dyeing the dog hair blue allows me to carry a piece of my dogs wherever I go, making the pieces deeply personal. I wanted to represent my identity through these accessory designs, so I researched alternative subcultures like punk and metal to develop various styles. For the creation process, I experimented with a wide variety of materials, including old denim pants, metal studs, and soda tabs. The outcomes are unique bracelets that fit my personal aesthetic perfectly and have become part of my daily wear, allowing me to showcase my style every day.
