About
this work

In this garment, I aimed to create a new upcycled piece of everyday clothing that would fit my sense of style in order to express myself in a way that fits my identity. During my process, I researched many ideas of different jeans and tried to create a unique piece of clothing through a pair of pants. I used old denim pants belonging to my older brother and my father, upcycling them into a new pair of jeans that I now wear regularly. In the end, I managed to create a sustainable, one-of-a-kind piece made entirely out of fabric scraps.
